This recipe was one of my favorites when I was a little girl. It takes me back every time when I was little. The kids will love to help make this one. They will be begging to make it a again. It's a perfect way to put a smile on your face :)
Ingredients:
1 devils food cake mix
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
3 1/2 cups 1% milk
2 small boxes of chocolate instant pudding
8 oz whipped topping
1/2 package Oreo cookies, crushed
gummy worms
plastic cups for individual servings
Directions:
Prepare and bake cake according to directions. Let cool. Crumble cake in large bowl.
In a clean bowl, mix together cream cheese and margarine/butter with an electric mixer. Add milk and pudding mix, blending until thickened. Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture. Spoon the pudding mixture on top of cake crumbs. Crush cookies and place them on top of pudding mixture. Then top it off with a gummy worm. Refrigerate leftovers.
